An elegant storage solution for an elegant home.  This project was commissioned for a new house, and it was designed, built and installed while the home was under construction.  Each member of the five-person family has their own locker.  In addition to storage space in the lockers and upper cubbies, there are also storage bays under the bench seat.  The bench seat is divided such that each bench storage bay has its own lid, and each lid is mounted with spring-loaded lift mechanisms.  The carcasses are 3/4″ Maple plywood, the bench seat is 3/4″ Birch plywood with Poplar nosing, and the door frames and trim are Poplar.
