The main design element that ties the three pieces of this home office together is the exposed baltic birch plywood edge, as seen in the bookshelf case, counter top, and desk top and divider panels. The desktop is anchored to the wall on one side and provides a clear span to the ebonized maple leg with no intermediate supports. The desk apron is an aluminum C-channel frame with openings cut for a pencil drawer at each of the four workstations. The tall divider in the center of the desktop provides a small shelf, and the four perpendicular dividers separating the workstations are removable. The removable dividers are held in place with aluminum brackets and standoffs.
